I heard the wailing and pain of cattle being rounded up yesterday, calves separated from their mothers and I felt their suffering. Whips cracked and harsh human voices shouted.

I often hear other people say that what is most important to them is life itself and their family and to live a life free of uneccessary pain. I believe this is true
of all creatures.

Why do we deny for other creatures and people what we most desire ourslves?

Maybe the old mobile is just fine…..

Swimming at Wategoes yesterday I captured these images of mermaids
gliding through the ocean and bringing joy to everyone they encountered.
An amazing young woman Kazzie Mahina has introduced mermaids into our
seas and encouraged us to return to the ocean and all of it’s magic .
Let us never lose our sense of mystery, magic and play…nature brings us

In the Abscence

In the abscence of someone or something I love there is a window of possibility, a gateway to possibility, mystery and unsolicited consciousness – the only trouble is that at these times or moments fear, guised as habitual thinking , belief or knowing can block all expansion – keeping me safe, small and compliant to a routine that has fulfilled it’s term and now stops adventure and discovery – the discovery of Self.

As I watched the Pleiades move across the sparkling night sky at 4am this morning and witnessed a slither of moon rise over the horizon my mind latched onto what was not present in my life – how I couldn’t be in the sea that I love – that I was on 100 acres of land and not near Bondi or the Cross or Hernandez or Hydra or Haifa or the Sinai, Val Gran Rey, Central Park, Berlin or the Carnegie Deli eating Beetroot Borscht – all the places I love – and as I write this a feather just fell from the sky, 4 magpies waddled past me like Danny Devito in Batman and the rainforest to my right whispered secrets of elementals, faeries and unseen crystalline beings that await my attention. Dusty our cat sits like the Sphinx over looking desert sands, Ubud our dog rests knowing that I am in view writing and staring across a sparkling day alive with light’s vibration – no I am not at the Gaughin museum just a local bus ride fromPapeete set in a thatched hut – I am here – and at this moment all that I love - person, place , adventure, heartache and knowing is here with me and I feel the swell of possibility bring me to shore – the rising peace envelops me – excitement returns and the universe inside me is open to being explored -

Walking Gulaga mountain years ago I discovered that sacred sites are before me everywhere – everything, every person, rock, stone, tree is a sacred site – the thou in me honours the thou in you and all things – and I honour my limitations . impatience and confusions – they too have led me here and will continue to remind me to surrender – surrender to the amazing world of now….

A Close Encounter and Humble Gratitude

I post this blog today in gratitude for this magnificent planet and the gracious souls upon her who tended my body and my soul when I fractured my skull and sustained a brain haemorrhage recently.

Sonia found me almost unconscious and rang for an ambulance and thus began a three week stay in hospital. I am home now and convalescing until I receive an all clear from the nuerological team in late August.

Thankyou to everyone who supported me and apologies to everyone who had
no idea I was in hospital.

One night I was told I may have a seizure and they were fearful I could go into
a coma. Through all the pain and sickness I hadn’t really believed I could die
from my injury…then it hit me and I felt deaths door slightly ajar and I sobbed and sobbed as my heart tore open with all the love I felt for Sonia and my family
and friends and ofcourse Ubud and Dusty.

In my years on the planet I have not been the best communicator to those I hold dear in my heart but let me say you are there and I think of you more than you
will know.

I am grateful to the nurses and doctors who took care of me and to Sonia who
silently stayed with me and loved me.

Thankyou to my spirit friends who protected me and to my soul friends …
I have seen and experienced much kindness and heart…where to from here?
I am both terrified and elated…my place in the world has often felt precarious
and all I know is that I must simply be myself…

I love predawn because I can gaze at the stars and feel and hear the music of the spheres…all is at peace and the gentle embrace of essential possibilities comes to me …love one another well…these are times for change…as I release duality and embrace oneness I can truly live…thankyou for being on the journey…Kim
